Helder Figueira
Helder is our Chief Cryptographer and a former military cryptanalyst who served as a military intelligence officer (2nd Lieutenant) commanding a classified cryptanalysis unit. Helder was tasked with the interception and decoding of all operational military radio message working in a “Bletchley Park” like cryptanalysis operation, breaching over 12 separate cryptosystems. Since leaving the military, and getting a law degree, Helder has spent the last 20 years trying to solve what is considered an impossible problem in cryptography – attaining perfect secrecy using a key that is shorter than the message. A breakthrough in 2016 led to the design of a new revolutionary encryption engine, Equivocation Augmentation algorithm. This has subsequently been awarded patents globally (US Patent 11233628 & 10348704).

Steve Weston
Steve is our Chief Technology and Product Officer. For the past 25+ years, Steve has worked across all verticals for some of the largest global organisations leading strategy, architecture, product ideation and delivery. Renowned for pragmatic delivery, Steve is a hands-on CTO with multiple start-up experiences and can effortlessly shift between detailed technical conversations, business, and product strategy. Steve is passionate about simplifying the developer and architecture experience, giving people the right tools to reduce the costs to serve, whilst accelerating time to change for encryption and security services.
Ian Leitch
Ian is our Chief Executive Officer. For the past 20+ years, Ian has worked exclusively as a consultant & interim executive across a diverse swathe of industries and for some of Europe’s most recognizable businesses. A renowned trouble-shooter Ian has worked in both Public & Private Sector to drive transformation and delivery, removing obstacles, re-engaging with customers, and improving business outcomes. Ian has seen first-hand how difficult it is to manage and transform an increasingly complex security infrastructure with the ever-growing list of people required to build, update and manage applications and infrastructure. Ian is passionate about simplifying the transition of companies to a post quantum secure world.
